Michael Park – Subscriber Spotlight

Hello, my name is Michael Park. I live in DeWitt, Michigan. Yes, l have “Red Fever” bad! My passion for IH tractors all started in 2023…after l became friends with my now “Farmall Brother” Jim Mehney. I found a 1941 Farmall M for sale on good ol Market Place. I ran it by Jim…he told me “You buy it…and l will help you get it running”…so l bought her. And that is how l got started collecting Farmalls.

They say collecting tractors is like potato chips…you can’t stop after just one… So it is now 2026. My new 40×72 pole barn is overflowing with tractors & equipment. There are the common H’s & M’s…and some special ones too! In my collection l have a MV, 300HC, MCH, OS6, 1939 H & A, and a very special 400 with factory delete T/A, Hydraulics, & live PTO. I also collect IH literature & collectibles. And l just completed my collection of Red Power Magazine…issue #1 through current!

Jim & I enjoy adding to our collections, working on them, and taking them for a ride down an old dirt road. We enjoy meeting other IH collectors & seeing their collections, comparing notes, telling stories about finding our tractors. People who collect old farm tractors & equipment…are special people! We are looking forward to 2027 when Michigan is hosting the Red Power Roundup. I enjoy trying to help people if l can. Here is my email if you would like to bounce a question off me. deereacres@aol.com
